The history of the Dal Pizzol family began in the 19th century with the arrival of the brothers Martino and Bartolo Dal Pizzol coming from San Pietro di Feletto in the Province of Treviso, in the Veneto region of Italy. They settled in the town of Bento Gonçalves, in the south of Brazil.
The tradition in the vitiviniculture became stronger in 1974, when Atilio, Martino`s grandson founded Dal Pizzol Fine Wines. As always, the family's philosophy is to keep a limited wine production made of fine grapes. Located in Faria Lemos, district of Bento Gonçalves, in the highlands of Rio Grande do Sul, the winery has a wide variety of products, which belong to the brand Dal Pizzol.
The care for the art practiced by the family of grape growers, begins with the handling of the grapevines, from the pruning in the winter, to the meticulous selection of the ripe grapes, having a partnership with producers from the region through technical assistance from oenologists and from the winery's agronomist engineer.
In an 80-thousand square meter area of land, it is located the Dal Pizzol Theme Park, a place with lakes and green areas, holding a great collection of native plants. In this place the Dall Pizzol enoteca is located, with a collection of bottles from old vintages, dating back to the company's foundation, considered museum items.
