Founded on August 10th, 1976 by Italian immigrant’s descendants, Courmayeur preserves the tradition of the development of fine wines focused on excellence. The winery offers a wide line of products in the national and international market. Triggered by the peculiar climate and soil characteristics of Garibaldi, in the Serra Gaucha Region, Courmayeur has directed especial attention to sparkling wines making, confirming the region's vocation in this way. The sparkling wines are produced observing the regional characteristics that allow grape production with the ideal conditions for this aim. All the work performed at Courmayeur is based on the most modern enologic techniques, considering the best practices of this science. Today, the winery is one of the most important producers of sparkling wines in Brazil. Our expertise in grape production and wine making has allowed Courmayeur to obtain products with international acknowledgement of quality.
