The south of Brazil was the birthplace of Aurora Winery. It was in this region that in 1875 the first Italian immigrants arrived ready to roll up their sleeves to work and produce. They brought the art of cultivating vineyards and making wines. In 1931, sixteen families of grape producers got together to begin what would become the largest undertaking of this kind in Brazil, Aurora Winery. Today, 1,100 families are associated. Aurora Winery is responsible for an average production of 50 million kilograms of grapes a year. Our history is the foundation of our dynamics today.
Aurora was the first winery in Brazil to have ISO 9,001 and 14,001. It works closely with Brazil´s leading research centre and the farms are looked after by a team of 25 agronomists.
Its product line is made up of wines, sparkling wines, wine coolers and grape juice. Over the years Aurora winery continues to be a Brazilian company with the highest number of awards.
