The saga of the Valduga family in Brazilian territory began in 1875, exploring and developing the vitiviniculture in Vale dos Vinhedos in Rio Grande do Sul highlands.
The vineyards that belong to the winery located in Vale dos Vinhedos and Encruzilhada do Sul produce fine grapes with imported and certified sprouts. These vineyards are obtained through refined plantation techniques such as trellis system, production control and selective harvest, therefore reaching the highest quality standards.
In order to keep their excellent quality, these varietal wines are given special care. The aged wines mature in French oak barrels. After this period, they are bottled and are stored in an appropriate cave, acquiring then a fine bouquet. As for the white wines, they rest in stainless steel tanks for a short time, so that they can maintain their primary flavors and can be consumed while still young. The sparkling wines are made through the traditional method in our cave.
This dedication has been recognized with over 140 national and international awards and, moreover, the most demanding’ consumers palates in Brazil and other continents have been captivated.
