Brazilian wines have established a base in the United States. The Wines From Brazil Project, carried out jointly by Ibravin (Brazilian Wine
Institute) and Apex-Brazil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Agency), hired this week a representative in New York. The Argentinean consultant Nora Favelukes, president of the QW Wine Experts, who has been living in the United States for over 20 years, will be the official ambassador of the 39 Brazilian member wineries of WFB in the competitive U.S. market.

In early January, Nora Favelukes was in Bento Gonçalves, at Ibravin’s headquarters, closely evaluating the products of 13 wineries - Panizzon, Lidio Carraro, Irmãos Molon, Dal Pizol, Casa Valduga, Casa Motter, Peterlongo, Cave de Amadeu, Irmãos Basso, Galiotto, Miolo, Pizzato and Aurora - interested in exporting to the U.S. market. The work of Nora Favelukes’s company includes public relations, product placement, event planning and marketing activities for the promotion of imported wines in the USA. Today, Nora is responsible for the promotion of wines from Argentina and Uruguay in the land of Uncle Sam. "Now, Brazilian wines are also customers of this well-known company," celebrates Andreia.

President of QW Wine Experts, a public relations firm that works with product placement, event planning and marketing activities to promote wines imported into the United States, Nora Favelukes was hired in 1988 by Bodegas Navarro Correas to introduce the wine brand in the USA. National sales manager for Billington distributor, she was responsible for the introduction of Bodegas Catena in the USA. Today, she is in charge of action plans regarding Public Relations and Marketing of wines from Argentina and Uruguay.
